Gulf Harbour is located at the tip of the beautiful Whangaparaoa Peninsula, 45 minutes by ferry and 40 minutes by car from downtown Auckland. The map on the left shows you our location.
Take the Northern Motorway towards Whangarei. Turn off at the Silverdale / Whangaparaoa exit. Turn right at the roundabout onto State Highway 1. Proceed along state Highway 1 through Silverdale until you come to the turn off to Whangaparaoa. Turn right at the traffic lights onto Whangaparaoa Rd.
Drive along Whangaparaoa Rd for about 20 minutes all the way until you come to the turn off to Gulf Harbour Drive at a roundabout. Proceed down Gulf Harbour Drive until you reach a second roundabout at the Town Centre. Go through the roundabout and take the first right turn into the Town Centre carpark. We are located immediately in front of the Town Centre.
From the Airport, head out along George Bolt Memorial Drive, which then turns into the South Western Motorway. Drive along the South Western Motorway towards Auckland, and turn off at Queenstown Rd. Turn right into Queenstown Road, which then becomes Pah Rd, and then becomes Manukau Rd. Drive along Manukau Rd and turn left at Alpers Ave. Turn right into Gillies Ave and then take the first left onto the Southern Motorway. Go north along the Southern Motorway which goes through Auckland City and becomes the Northern Motorway. Follow the instructions above for getting to Gulf Harbour from the Northern Motorway.
Take the Ferry to Gulf Harbour from the Ferry Terminal at the bottom of Queen St., Auckland City. See the Ferry Schedule for details.
You can take a bus to Gulf Harbour from downtown Auckland, Takapuna or Albany. Go to the Stagecoach web site for timetables.
